At Ysgol Antur Cwm, we’ve built a team that reflects our values; practical, passionate, and purpose-driven.

Rather than relying on traditional classroom teachers, we’ve taken a different path. Our staff are experienced outdoor educators, vocational instructors and therapeutic practitioners who understand that many of our pupils haven’t thrived in mainstream education; and need something more grounded, active and relational.

Our instructors bring years of real-world experience in their specialist fields, whether it’s construction, mechanics, outdoor adventure or youth work. Several also hold teaching qualifications such as PGCEs, ensuring that everything we deliver is both engaging and educational.

We pride ourselves on having a diverse, skilled and emotionally intelligent team, with a healthy balance of male and female staff. Every adult at Antur Cwm plays a part in creating a consistent, safe and encouraging environment where young people can reset, re-engage, and succeed.
